The government's tax incentives empower bioplastic entrepreneurs to soar

Business owners can deduct expenses for purchasing biodegradable plastic products from their corporate income tax, resulting in significant investments in the bioplastic industry, totaling over 19,000 million Baht since the first quarter of 2023. This aligns with the global trend of increasing production of bioplastics, expected to rise from 2.11 million tons in 2019 to 2.43 million tons in 2024 across various industries including medical, packaging, agriculture, electronics, and synthetic fibers.
